Yesterday I updated my iPod touch firmware from 2.2.1 to all new and amazing OS 3.0, It took me like around 15 minutes to update 3.0 firmware. The installation was pretty smooth and everything went good while installing. I saw some cool new features bundled with it, some of my favorite are as below although every new additions are amazing on its own way.

Safari Improvements
Enjoy faster performance, autofill user names and passwords, and I can save images from the web to my Photo Gallery.

Sync Notes
Never leave a note behind. Now you can sync all the notes you write on your iPhone back to your Mac or PC.

YouTube Login
Log in to your YouTube account to save and sync bookmarks and rate favorites.

Shake to Shuffle
Give iPhone a shake and it shuffles to a different song in your music library.

Select, Select All, Copy, Cut and Paste
I was really looking for this feature to be integrated in update, it just makes life easier and now I don’t have to type everything so now I can copy the word or full sentence and paste it and if I accidently paste it in wrong place, I can just shake my ipod and updo paste button will appear in the screen and I can undo the changes.

Spotlight Search
One of the best thing found in 3.0, now I am able to search my whole iPod from one screen and all the results will show up, not matter what, Music, Video, Email, Notes, Apps., and much more.

in the above pic you can see the text renderings in HTML text both in firefox and Safari browser, can u see the difference?? yeah I can see it clearly, the HTML text rendered is better in Safari browser than Firefox and in firefox the edges are not smooth, I updated my firefox 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 few days back but i think they need to work on this issues, and came into my knowledge that Apple Safari coders helped Firefox coders to get some issue solved for the image rendering and some bugs fixes. I hope they will fix this text rendering issue in the next update, cause I loved the way text are rendered in Safari broswer.
